Quality Child Care…

... a topic being discussed every
day by caring and concerned
parents. But where do you go to
find it?

Today, the expectations for a
child's future are as high as a
soaring balloon. And parents
have risen to the challenge by
demanding the best—the best
facilities, the best equipment and
the best education programs.

Each Kids ‘R’ Kids center is
individually owned and operated
with the franchiser providing
guidance and help as needed.

Parents get maximum value for
their investment in superior
childcare and the children have
every opportunity to grow and
learn at our centers. At Kids ‘R’
Kids centers our services are
offered to everyone—regardless
of race, creed, sex, religion, or
national origin.

Every child is special.
PHILOSOPHY

The Kids ‘R’ Kids basic philosophy—that children should be
hugged first, then taught—is evident for all age groups.

The developing personality of each child is more evident as they
grow. We make certain that the teachers at our facilities take
special care to watch the progress of each child and report their
progress to parents. By focusing on the positive aspects of a
child's behavior, teachers promote an atmosphere that allows
each child to grow at his or her own pace, and develop skills that
will help them realize their highest potential. Kids ‘R’ Kids
teachers know that a positive approach is the best approach.
Using praise creates a good attitude toward learning and helps
build a child's self-esteem. Learning should be a happy,
rewarding experience for the children and the teacher.

Since Kids ‘R’ Kids provides for children from infancy to 12
years old, our teachers are trained to recognize each child's
capabilities. Each age group encompasses individual levels of
growth and development in language, physical activity, thinking,
social and emotional skills.

Infant thru One

Taking care of infants is incredibly demanding. Each infant has
different needs and each need must be met. From constant
monitoring of each child to proper feeding and the all-important
clean diaper, every need is met.
Our warm, loving atmosphere gives these children a safe, secure
feeling and helps them in the transition of the physical separation
from their parents during the day.

Two thru Three

Two and three year olds are naturally curious. At our centers,
children can explore their world in safe surroundings. Showing
them pictures, allowing them to touch, smell and create objects
are just a few activities necessary for healthy development. In
addition, teachers are encouraged to let the children hold and
identify items, talk, walk, feed themselves, and accomplish potty
training.
Treating each child as an individual is most important at this time
in their lives and helps each one start developing his or her full
creative potential.

Four thru Five

At this age, children are beginning to prepare for school. As
professionals, the teachers at Kids ‘R’ Kids begin to provide a
more structured learning environment, so that each child will have
a strong foundation for their elementary school years.
Activities promoting alphabet recognition, emergent readers,
working with numbers, exploring arts and crafts, refining hand-
eye coordination and problem solving skills are used by Kids ‘R’
Kids teachers. Plus, four and five-year olds are introduced to
computers — another tool our teachers use to help children learn
at their own pace.

Six thru Twelve

In many families, both parents work, making after school
programs a necessity during the school year and particularly
during the summer. For children 6 thru 12, Kids ‘R’ Kids offers
what parents are looking for—additional learning time,
supervised activities, and a safe environment.

Clothing

Parents are required to provide the center with 2 changes of
clothing for their child. All clothing must be marked with the
child's first and last name. The center is not responsible for lost
clothing.

When field trips are scheduled, children participating in the field
trip must wear their Kids ‘R’ Kids T-shirt. An identification
bracelet will be provided by the center for each child.

Toys

The center provides many toys for the children's playtime.
Therefore, we request that parents do not allow their child to
bring toys from home.
